I have a wide variety of experience working with my client’s medical healthcare professionals (chiropractors, physiotherapists, osteopaths, registered massage therapists, etc). Exercise prescription, technique, and form become even more critical during the recovery process and you will benefit from my experienced eye and knowledge.

I am an avid cyclist and occasional 5K runner myself and I have also successfully worked with recreational athletes of both disciplines to improve their strength and resiliency.

Low Back Pain & Core Stability

Are you experiencing low back pain that occurs periodically or is just constantly there during certain movements or postures? Have you been to your GP, had x-rays with inconclusive findings, and/or told that you just have a weak core? I can help! We will select drills and exercises that put you in good alignment and teach you how to properly pressurize your abdominal cavity by using your diaphragm and thus creating stability for your low back.

Functional Movement Screen

Gray Cook’s Functional Movement Screen is used to analyze the crucial movement patterns of your body. The 7 Functional Movement Screens will allow us to determine which movements give you the most difficulty so that we can design corrective exercises to improve them. If you are not moving freely and efficiently, then your body has to compensate to achieve the desired outcome. These compensations can negatively impact your body creating dysfunction and pain. Our goal will be to get you moving better and often.
